Poodles

Introduction:
I have a Poodle puppy and it likes to play with its ball. Its name is Jambo. Jambo eats dog food or dry food.

Poodles come from a dainty breed of non-sporting dogs. Once they were trained as duck retrievers for hunters and even trick circus dogs. Their coat, which is very dense, curly and harsh, is often clipped into distinct patterns and pompoms. Their coat is of a solid colour, ears are long, wide, and hang close to side of the head. The tail length and style varies. Eyes are large blue, oval and very dark. An adult Poodle is 38 cm tall or more and weighs 18—25 kg. Sometimes it is called Caniche or Barbome, especially in France. The Poodle’s name was derived from the German word ‘Poodle’. These dogs developed in Germany in the 15th century as a water-retrieving dog. Its coat was shorn in parts to facilitate swifter swimming.
Once a year you need to go to the veterinary to vaccinate your dog. You wash your dog once every month with a special shampoo. It is essential to brush it regularly so as to keep it clean and tidy.
