Grooming Persian Cats
by Mariocca Abela
To have best results for your persian cats you have to groom it every day. Breeders reccomend bristle brush (soft) or a comb. Avoid nylon combs cause they genarate static electricity.
If you discover a knot, simply tease it apart with your fingers then brush/comb it. If you need to cut it out, first slide a comb underneath the knot to separate the knot from the skin. Using a round-tipped scissors cut the hait sitting down on the comb.
Wipe tearing eyes with a damp face cloth (no soap) once in morning and once in evening. For problems staying round the eyes consult your vet before doing any cleansers or solutions. Be sure to check for cuts abrastions and parasitis. Bathe your persian cat every month or 2 months.
Following these tips, your cat will be a very happy persian cat and healthy too
